Crop Til You Drop!

They are a community of scrapbook friends who enjoy to retreat together a few times a year.

They plan their meals and eat together. They often invite me to visit and when I’m lucky enough to find time to scrapbook with them, I enjoy their company immensely.

I always leave Elaine’s group feeling happy, refreshed and rejuvenated. They seem to embody a creative community feeling and they are always positive, happy and have fun cropping! I marvel at their Thanksgiving style meals and revel in their excitement at spending time together. Their extravagant menus and artistically designed meal placements are extraordinary.

Destined to be a scrapbooker!

I love Scrapbooking

Why do I love scrapbooking?

I enjoy reminiscing & remembering both good & bad times from my past. No matter how my memory unfolds, I enjoy being creative and expressing myself using artwork and journaling. My experiences have shaped who I am today and remembering them brings a smile to my soul. I enjoy living a life that is worth remembering.

I have always been a collector of memories. I love taking pictures, writing in journals and reflecting on life’s many lessons. From the time I was eight years old I wrote in a diary every year. I would start off each diary with my New Years resolution to: “Write in my diary every day.” Throughout the year, I would reflect on the best and the worst times. I would capture each important event in my life and those around me. At the end of the year I would end with a series of reflections and highlights for the year.

In junior high school, I would write cute notes, fold them up and pass them along to my friends. I loved to spend time Kelly at 12reading books, writing poetry and doodling. As an only child I found friendship and solace in my journals.

In high school I started creating picture collages and picture albums. I would write notes about each picture in the margins of the photo album.

I’ve always been destined for scrapbooking! I absolutely love it. From the first moment I “scrapbooked” I was hooked! It was June 18th 2002 when I had my first scrapbooking party with a Creative Memories consultant. I remember how excited I was that day as we cropped photos, journaled our memories and creatively added stickers to the page. I was in LOVE! I now have over 21 completed albums and my collection keeps growing each year 🙂

If you have never scrapbooked before I would encourage you to try it. If you scrapbook but can’t find the time, I hope you can come join us for one of our upcoming scrapbook events.

xoxo – Kelly
